Lewis County Memorial Park

Memorial Park is a 20.2-acre park located within the city of Hohenwald. Recreational facilities include four baseball and softball fields, which are utilized by the local Dixie Youth organizations, and two tennis courts, two basketball courts, a gym, a public swimming pool, a playground, and a walking track.

Additionally, the park also offers three picnic pavilions and four buildings that can be rented for events.

Organizations that currently utilize Memorial Park include: Dixie Youth Softball, Dixie Youth Baseball, Lewis County Schools, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Lewis County Senior Citizens, Lewis County Jr Pro Football, and Lewis County Jr Pro Basketball.

The park, with entrances on Smith and Forrest Streets, is home to the South Central Area Fair in August. The fair serves Hickman, Perry, Wayne, and Lewis Counties in the south-central Tennessee region. The facility, a vital part of the City of Hohenwald and Lewis County, is overseen by members of the Park Conservation Board.
